10Gbps SFF Tx & Rx modules

In order to expand our product portfolio and to sustain FiBest's competitive advantages, we are also developing 10G Tx and Rx modules in SFF packages. These units, which can transmit up to 80Km, will be very compact and will have receptacle optical interfaces for easy handling in manufacturing. These SFF Tx/Rx units will be integrated into transceiver modules with receptacle optical interfaces.

Tx Module (TOSA) Features:

· Externally Modulated Laser(EML) integrated with driver IC

· Cooled 1550nm Laser with TEC (Thermo Electric Cooler)

· Up to 12.5Gbps operation (NRZ)

· Receptacle optical connector

· +5.0V power supply for driver IC

· Small form factor module

Rx Module (ROSA) Features:

· Up to 10.7Gbps operation (NRZ)

· InGaAs PIN with Pre-amplifier

· InGaAs APD with Pre-amplifier

· High Sensitivity of -18dBm(PIN/pre) and -26dBm(APD/pre) at 10.7Gbps

· Small Form Factor module (SFF) with CPW interface

· AC-coupled outputs

· +5.0V power supply for the preamplifier
